Why HL Pharma Joined ARCS Australia And What It Means for Our Clients
For more than a decade, HL Pharma has been quietly working behind the scenes to help medicines reach the people who need them. As we continue to grow, we feel it is time to step forward more visibly in the sector we serve. Becoming a Strategic Partner of ARCS Australia is part of that next step, helping us contribute more actively to the conversations shaping access to medicines, clinical supply and patient support across Australia.
Who is ARCS Australia?
ARCS Australia is the peak professional body for the healthcare and life sciences sector connecting sponsors, CROs, regulators, researchers and industry professionals across Australia and beyond. For more than 40 years, ARCS has been at the centre of the conversations that shape how medicines are developed, approved and accessed in this country. If you work in clinical research, regulatory affairs or pharmaceutical development in Australia, chances are you already know ARCS well.
Why Now and Why ARCS?
The short answer: the ARCS community is our community.
Every day, HL Pharma works alongside the sponsors, CROs and research teams who are driving clinical trials, navigating TGA pathways and working to get medicines to patients who need them. That work doesn’t happen in isolation; it requires a supply chain that is responsive, compliant and deeply connected to the regulatory environment.
ARCS sits at the heart of that environment. Becoming a Strategic Partner gives us a formal, year-round seat at the table not just at conference time, but throughout the year, through member communications, industry events and shared knowledge.
It’s an investment in the relationships and conversations that make better pharmaceutical supply possible.
What It Means for Our Clients
If you’re a current HL Pharma client or partner, this matters to you in a few concrete ways.
We’re more connected. As an ARCS Strategic Partner, we have deeper access to the clinical research and regulatory community which means we’re better placed to understand the challenges our clients are facing and respond to them.
We’re contributing to the conversation. Throughout the year, HL Pharma will be contributing to ARCS publications, events and member communications. If there are topics you’d like to see us address cold-chain compliance, Managed Access Program management, post-trial supply planning, we’d love to hear from you.
We’re investing in the sector long-term. We take our role in the Australian pharmaceutical supply chain seriously we and our commitment to the people and organisations we support.
A Bit About What We Do
For those who are new to HL Pharma: we are an independent Australian pharmaceutical partner, founded in 2014 and backed by over 40 years of industry experience.
From our purpose built facility in Keysborough, Melbourne, we connect regulated medicine access with compliant pharmaceutical storage, distribution and depot services across Australia and APAC. Underpinned by robust quality systems and clear operational processes, our services span TGA registration and sponsorship, global medicine sourcing from a vetted network across 15+ countries, Managed Access Programs, named patient and SAS supply, post-clinical trial supply, and validated cold-chain storage from controlled room temperature through to frozen.
We work with sponsors, CROs, manufacturers, hospitals and pharmacies who need a partner they can rely on completely. When the supply chain is complex, the regulatory landscape is shifting, or a patient is waiting, precision matters.
